Jizhi received his PhD in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Tokyo working with professor Motomu Kanai. In the Muir lab, he is interested in defining the biochemical ecosystem of cis-regulatory motifs in chromatin. Outside of the lab, Jizhi enjoys photography, hiking, skiing, and running (he has finished six full marathons).
