Cole obtained his B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Delaware, where he worked in the lab of Prof. Zhihao Zhuang, developing activity-based probes for the profiling of protein deubiquitinases. In the Muir lab, Cole is interested in studying histone ubiquitination, and its roles in genomic maintenance and the DNA damage response. Outside of lab, Cole enjoys skiing, writing, and playing video games with friends.
