Nicholas obtained his PhD in chemistry in 2019 with David Nicewicz at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and did a short postdoctoral stint with Tomislav Rovis at Columbia University. In the Muir lab, he aims merge an education in biochemistry with his prior organic training to develop solutions for uncovering Nature’s fundamental questions. Outside of the lab, you can find him watching soccer, reading novels and essays, or training his cats how to walk on a leash.
