Xuanjia is interested in the regulation of transcription. In the Muir lab, she is excited about learning chemical tool development and utilizing the knowledge to study biological questions. Outside the lab, she loves reading manga and fantasy novels. Xuanjia was so thrilled as a rotation student that she could have a full bench, plus a fancy big desk with a great view, plus a full set of pipettes.
